About Us

iSmash St James Quarter is one of our newest expert repair sites located within the heart of Edinburgh East End, in the St James Centre city district, a band-new retail and lifestyle centre only just built in the New Town.
Our service centre can be found inside the Sky Store and is one of a few locations we are opening in partnership with Sky, with the goal of making tech service and repairs more accessible across the UK.
Our highly trained technicians specialise in offering an express repair service for smartphones, tablets and computers. We also sell a variety of mobile accessories and refurbished devices.

  • At iSmash, we’re committed to keeping standards high for all our work. That’s why our technicians are fully qualified to repair a wide range of devices, including Apple, Samsung, Google, Huawei OnePlus and OPPO.
  • We offer pre-booked appointments, walk-in appointments, as well as post-in and courier repairs in the event you cannot access our Edinburgh centre. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
  • Our average repair time for screen repairs is only 30 minutes, so you can get your repair done while you grab a coffee or browse the hundreds of retail units in the centre.

    Find Us

You can find our Edinburgh Service Centre in the newly built St James Centre within the Sky store.
Conveniently located as it’s only minutes away from Waverley Train station and easily accessible from the capital’s airport and the major bus stations.

    By Road

Follow the main A71, A199, A90 or A720 roads towards the city centre. Road signs will direct you to Edinburgh New Town, Scott Monument, or the National Portrait Gallery, which are all popular attractions near the St James Quarter. Be aware not to turn into Princes St, as it’s only permitted for buses and taxies.
With 1600+ parking spaces, including 70 for the disabled, the Shopping Centre provides ample parking for its visitors. If not, there are several car parks nearby, including the Waverly Station car park, which offers 40 minutes of free parking.

    By Bus

You can catch any bus, coach or inner-city bus towards Edinburgh and get out at any of the following stops: Princes Street, St Andrews Square, Edinburgh Bus Station, York Place, Waterloo Place and Leith Street. They are just minutes away from the Centre.

    By Train

Any train towards Edinburgh Waverly Train Station will leave you less than a 10-minute walk from us.
Haymarket Train Stations is also an option, but it would require around half an hour’s walk.
