My iPhone 7 has water damage...what should I do?

A common misconception is that dropping your phone into a bag of rice or putting it on the radiator is the first aid treatment your phone needs. Ignore this. First thing, obviously, is to get it out of the water! Next, do not turn it on - this can cause short circuits. If it is on, we recommend turning it off. Now take the phone out of its case, shake the iPhone 7 and leave it to dry.
You can either contact us straight away or leave it to dry out, which can take a couple of days. After that time has passed, try turning it on. If it works - great. If not, contact us and we'll see if we can bring your iPhone 7 back to life.

If there’s a particular app and its use coincides with the screen playing up, try deleting that app. Try holding down the power and home buttons on your iPhone 7 simultaneously for 30 seconds to hard reset the phone. This may well bring the screen back from the dead.
